One thing, you probably already know but for those that don't, transparency always works on jpgs regardless of size but gifs at their original size it won't.
Examples on page, the 1st one is at original size, the 2nd I sized one pixel less in width.

No I didn't know about gif's not working with transparency at their true size. Guess I have always sized the gif overlay differently. I did know about transparency working with jpg's. Learn something new everyday!
