I took this image to Arbor ImageMagick to F/X

Set the Parameter to 60%

Select Tint

Select Opacity

Type in the word indigo

This is that result

It works opposite either light or dark of the color you type in. As you can see from the above I typed in indigo and I got Lavendar

If I wanted a dark gold bronze type of color I would type in lemonchiffon

If I wanted medium cyan I would type in dark cyan

To add special effects to your image, enter your effects parameter and method. Note, only methods denoted with an asterisk require a parameter value. Next, press effect to continue.

Choose from these special effects:

convolve *	oil paint *	stereo
F(x) *	sepia tone *	swirl *
implode *	shadow *	tint
morph *	solarize *	wave *
mosaic	stegano *	charcoal drawing *

Press to your image or the form.

Optional F/X Attributes

Channel	Fill Color

Miscellaneous options:

use clipboard image as source for F(x).
