More On "Pinching With Implode" Graphic Manipulation

Why doesn't it look like the one in the tute. I have shadows on the sides, and two tapers.

Answer:
Because it's a gradient. Grads are strange little image creatures. Also because I used the image of the candle with the flame on it. If you wanted to "pinch" the gradient image. You would need to put your image on a black back with some space at the top but not on the bottom. IOW's a image that had a taller top black background on it. So the "pinch" would pinch the top of the candle body. Without the top border of black it will pinch the images waist instead of the images head.

Put candle image on a black background something like this: You will have to play with it. I haven't figured out a formula. A formula may not work from one image to the next. I'm not that much of a poindexter. (yet!)
