Best to use one word key words at picsearch I have found. It chokes on allot of 2 word keywords. Open the advanced search part of picsearch and click on the animated & images to be returned and you will get more results that way. Animated images are not part of the default search terms. It returns 200 approx more images in this case. Some things it will return 1/3 more & up to 50% more depending on the keyword. whale with animated images included You can also refine your search results easily at picsearch by using the advanced feature, like selecting a size restriction or animated images only. Like animated icons I would select animated images only & size small 50 pixels wide to find what I wanted quickly. You can also do this at google advanced search. But you have to think more & type in stuph. I dunno about you? But when I'm look'n for images I wanna LK not think!
