I like the 2 frame better. Not much of a savings on kbs with the 2 frame image verses the 3 frame. However I did not optimise either image.

Generally speaking the fewer amount of frames of a animated image = smaller kb size. Also because it is fewer frames when reducing the amount of colors the image quality holds up better. That is my experience.

Using another image to over lay the snow globe heart it might make more of a difference? =shrug= We will have to try a few and see.
